Over 10 years ago, a small group of San Pedro community members recognized the need for a new local high school. They planned to open a school that would educate underserved students in a small, innovative learning environment. ADC developed the 35,000-square-foot campus to include New 24 state-of-the-art classrooms for interactive learning engaging students with the latest technology, a computer lab, a performing arts theater with mini-stage and theater seats, science laboratories with teacher’s demonstration table, and fume hoods, and comfortable faculty offices and lounge. Today, POLAHS has an enrollment of approximately 1,000 students.
